Shelly AdelleShelley Adelle
Experimental Human/Spiritual Enthusiast.  Shelley is a former farm girl from Texas, military brat, one-time actress, soap store goddess, lifetime meditator, artist/actor/writer, hands-on Yoga Empress and seeker of all things Joyful.

Shelley has found her place in the world as a full-time Yoga Teacher who enjoys playing on the beach when she is not involved with found objects.

Shelley loves to discuss Breathing, Meditation and Philosophies at large.  She likes to connect with people who appreciate conversation, love to dance, spiritual seekers and people yearning to laugh.

Shelley enjoys the moment-to-moment of many things, believes in love at first sight and is open to suggestions.

She trained under Jonathan Fields at Sonic Yoga Center for Yoga Studies in New York City and is a 200-hour CYT/RYT.  Visit Shelley at

Ann Belinkoff
Ann began her yoga practice in 1970. She became a certified Sivananda Yoga Instructor in 1991 and has been teaching in Vero Beach since 1996. Ann enjoys helping people move. As a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, she uses Acupuncture, Yoga and Meditation clinically to help people release pain, increase range of motion and regain their innate healthy optimism.

Yoga's aim is freedom, especially from everyday chaos and static. Physically, you will be invited to gain awareness, stability, energy and flexibility. Mentally, you will be invited to gain focus, balance, strength and peace. Age is one of the least important factors. You will progress at your own pace.

Cindy Brister
Cindy has been teaching physical education to middle school students for 21 years. She is passionate about teaching and excited to introduce Yoga to young people. She recently completed Level 2YogaFit certification and also attended a YogaFit Kids workshop. Cindy hopes to ignite in her young students a lifelong passion for Yoga and physical fitness. Her classes are designed to help children build strength, improve flexibility and develop body awareness and self confidence.
 

Julie Cielo
Julie Cielo, RYI, LMT, Spiritual Enthusiast, Global Adventurer, has been teaching yoga locally for seven years. Julie is a long-time meditator in the Vipassana tradition and teaches Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. 

Julie has studied ith Shiva Rea, David Swenson, Richard Freeman and Sarah Powers among other wonderful yoga gurus. She received her 200-hour Teacher Training with Margarida Tree of One Yoga Planet in Fort Pierce, FL, focusing primarily in the Astanga lineage. Her warm and playful spirit is refreshing, encouraging and always uplifting.

Julie has been a practicing massage therapist for 15 years and her knowledge of anatomy and sense of touch make her a gifted and informed teacher of yoga.  Her specialty is one-on-one yoga training.  She also organizes and leads yoga travel adventure. For more information visit www.juliecielo.com

Lu French
Lu FrenchLu is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher and is approaching completion of her 500 hour certification in Prana Flow Yoga with Shiva Rea. Lu teaches at Living Yoga during the school year and at her own studio, Breathing Room Yoga,  in Manchester, Vermont throughout the summer months.

Most recently, Lu has studied with Manju Jois, son of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in traditional Mysore Ashtanga. This experience has deepened Lu's practice and informed her classes with the wisdom of this time honored tradition. 

To her yoga classes, Lu brings 13 years of experience in the practice of yoga as well as 12 years of practice as a clinical pharmacist with an intuitive and academic understanding of anatomy and physiology. Her style is soft spoken yet powerful. Her classes are meditative, informative, filled with fluid movement, poetry, music and love.

Rampriya (Rana) Khan
Rampriya is in certified Kali Natha Yoga, developed by Ma Jaya in Sebastian, FL.
She has explored different styles of yoga including Astanga, The Barkan Method of Hot Yoga, Sivananda and Kundalini Yoga.

Approaching yoga with a gentle, yet energetic spirit, Rampriya tailors her class to meet the needs of her students. Self-awareness, gratitude, compassion and love are all-important to her and she incorporates all of these qualities into her classes.

Rampriya is registered with Yoga Alliance and is currently enrolled in pre-med studies at Indian River College.


Mark Krebs
Mark is certified in Kundalini and Hatha Yoga and his training and personal practice includes Bikram and Astanga systems. He has studied with such luminaries as Shiva Singh, Ravi Singh, Ana Brent and Kriyananda.

Mark has just completed his second season teaching Kundalini Yoga at McKee Botanical Gardens and is known for teaching a gentle and subtle class reaching all ages and physical ability.

In addition to yoga, Mark is a USPTA P1 tennis professional, teaching out of Twin Oaks in Vero Beach.  He holds tennis titles in five states and has taught in Maui, Chicago and Santa Fe.  He feels yoga has given him the edge to succeed in all his life's endeavors.

Mark has also studied Shabda, Nada and Mantra Yoga (the yoga of sound) and as a composer and musician has produced CDs for healing and meditation.

 


Elise Mahovlich
A Kripalu Yoga certified instructor, Elise's class structure includes centering, warm-ups, vinyasa (posture flow), relaxation and meditation. Each class is designed to improve flexibility, strength, balance, coordination and for a whole-body workout.

Himalaya Parker
Himalaya began her yoga practice in the late 1960's with Indra Devi and then lived in India for a year. Since then, she has lived and studied with her teacher MaJaya in Sebastian. Himalaya has taught yoga in our community for over 30 years as well as presented workshops in other cities. Certified through Yoga Alliance and personally instructed by Ma Jaya, Himalaya is an instructor of Kali Natha Yoga.

Himalaya teaches a flowing and meditative style of yoga which includes the use of breath, mudras, postures, stretches and relaxation.

As she was taught, "We stretch out from the heart and stretch deeply into the heart and deeply into the stillness within. There is a balance within us where movement and stillness merge."

Also a practicing licensed massage therapist and reflexologist, Himalaya invites new clients to make appointments through the studio.

David Potter
David has found so much joy in yoga for more than 10 years.  Practicing Astanga, Hatha and vinyasa flow styles, David received his Level 4 teacher certification with YogaFit.  He and his wife, Laurie, operated a yoga studio near Boulder, Colorado, for four years.  They recently moved back to their home state to permanently enjoy the water and warmth.

David is also a massage therapist, Reiki practitioner, classical guitarist and occasionally you might see him jammin' on the banjo or performing on stage.

While his philosophy is that yoga should be for all body types, his teaching style could be described as an eclectic blend of yoga postures that flow together while focusing on breath, safety, awareness and mindfulness.
